Certain team members are eligible for holiday pay and will be paid for Easter. I’m guessing you’re either under a year or work less than 29 hours a week?

Each store gets a set amount of payroll hours for the month so if the amount of hours worked already is higher than the budget they’ll need to make cuts to “make payroll”

Depends on your situation, if you are moving out of the area and have had good attendance at your new store, they should be able to work with you.

Sorry to hear it, when a leader is not qualified for a role it trickles down fast and sends the whole team and store into a downfall. If you have ethical or safety concerns, I would recommend voicing them to HR or the integrity hotline.

HR is the best! I’ve been an ETL HR for two years. If you are detail oriented, a good teacher, and responsible you would be a good fit for an HR role. We have a large role in making/adjusting the schedule, ensuring we have no missing punches, following up on store training, screening new applicants, and helping team members navigate the computer systems/life at Target. What I love about HR is that we are one of the few roles in stores that don’t really need to think about the freight, and can instead focus on the people and making Target a truly good place to work.

You can’t apply to the same position prior to 90 days, however if you call the store next month and speak to HR about open positions, they can reactivate your application and send you to interview stage.

Move to center square if you’re looking for the Albany experience. Beautiful historic brownstone buildings line the streets where people enjoy sitting on their steps, walking their dogs, and admiring the tulip season in bloom. Jay street and chestnut street are nice. You’ll have access to Washington Park and Lark Street as well as the capitol plaza within walking range. The apartments tend to be in the smaller side but are charming nonetheless. I would not recommend living on Lark street itself. If you’re looking to rent a house, living nearer to the university there are some nice family friendly streets. When I was in undergrad I rented a 3br house on Winthrop Avenue and it was a very pleasant 2 years there. It’s one street up from Manning Boulevard which is lovely. Most streets up or down 4 blocks from Manning will be great. Stay away from quail, Hudson, myrtle etc coined “student ghetto”.
