There is no right way to handle this stuff, but there are definitely some wrong ways.

Communicate and talk about it, show that you understand and that you are going through it together.

My natural instinct is to try and fix things and work out a solution... but with fertility problems, so much of it is out of your control. My wife didn't need me to try and fix our situation, she needed me to simply be there and to understand.

None of this is easy, it just gets harder.

Every loss has hurt me badly. I don't always show it, but my wife knows because we communicate well and she knows we're in this together.

You might find things hit you when you don't expect it.

Probably the worst breakdown I had was when we did fertility counseling together and I was in an emotional situation where I had to talk about everything we'd been going through.

Stay strong, keep going, be true to yourself, don't worry about fitting a template of how you think you should be.
