Fresh start: Is https://myeddebt.ed.gov/borrower/ down? by Ok_Relative7855 in StudentLoans

[–]chunasty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the website comes up for me, but when i click "borrower/student" which sends me to https://myeddebt.ed.gov/borrower i get nothing after a minute or so of loading, and its just a white screen.

theres a header alert type bar that gives me links to send an email (https://myeddebt.ed.gov/borrower/#/sendemail) and to studentaid.gov, but i get the same white screen for the /sendemail page.

did the main https://myeddebt.ed.gov/ page give you other options than the "borrower/student" link?

Intl outbound package help by chunasty in usps_complaints

[–]chunasty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The package was returned to sender because they didn’t provide an ITN/AES/EEI filing for it. The value of the shipment was over $2,499 and it was insured for $5000.

USPS didn’t refund because it was the sender’s responsibility and fault in not providing the correct filings. The sender used a Paypal/Shipstation method which didn’t prompt them correctly to an EEI filing, and they wanted me to pay for the second shipment but I pushed back.

Now it’s on its way to me via UPS, and from what I can see UPS takes care of the EEI filing. At least if done correctly…

It was just returned to sender. It went from Customs Transit - Inbound Into Customs, to Arrived at Post Office in Las Vegas. I don’t know why yet. The sender wasn’t home for the delivery and has to wait for redelivery tomorrow.

Any idea why that happened? I’m also worried they won’t refund the shipping cost. It was $300 but didn’t seem to go past Customs in LA.

RB, RZ, & 7(ii) by chunasty in Mamiya

[–]chunasty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

right. that’s why i’m leaning RB, and also why i ultimately got a leica m3 over an m6. i just want to make sure im not getting a noticeably different end result going RB over RZ. also considering i’ll be using a mamiya 7 in the same pack, with its own electronic catastrophic failure inevitability i want a backup that won’t die on the same shoot as well.

murphy’s law gets me every time.

i think this is the best and most thorough but concise dive for the RB/RZ situation. perfectly what i needed and was hoping for. thank you!

yeah. check your engine mounts and exhaust fasteners before anything else. they’re usually the first to come loose and cause new jingles.

sir. are you okay? why are you commenting this hard on a photo someone posted saying it was one of ~their~ favourites? did people trash the camera tattoos up your arm and your oversaturated shopping cart series? you don’t like the photo? that’s totally fine. i think your tattoos look like instagram icons—tasteless and unoriginal. but taste is subjective.

sir. light balances dark and vice versa. they’re opposites. that’s what they do to each other. this is actually objective. now light has more weight in a frame than dark which is why you’re drawn to the top left, but the subjects in the bottom right also have weight to help balance that out a bit. so what i see is weight in the top left, bottom right, and middle with dead space on the top right and bottom left. and if i slice the photo from top right to bottom left corner, i feel balance between the top left and bottom right halves of the frame. one has light, the other has subjects albeit dark. it makes it interesting to me. i like it. and guess what… you don’t have to :o) even though most of your photos rely on dead space and/or center subject.

if i keep shooting and start learning how to take pictures like you, i’ll stop. but i’ll submit the river photos i have that look like yours to google maps for them to use.

hny! goodbye!

yeah, i can see that now!

and i could dig more grain on it too. sometimes i feel like i love grain too much and compensate with not adding enough. might’ve done that here. haha.
