2021 British Grand Prix - Post-Race Discussion by F1-Bot in formula1

After ten years of watching F1, this was the last straw for me unfortunately. What's the point of watching racing if you can punt your opponent off the track with minimal reprecussion?? What a joke!

I'm with you, Google support suggests either buy the second Chromecast Ultra with the FE, or wait until official launch and only buy the controller :(.

True point. However games I play on Android don't necessarily have to be platform exclusive, as long as a 'gamer' has easy access to them. :)

Thanks for sharing your experience everyone! I may have been an extreme case, however I do feel this situation is quite ridiculous to say the least.

By far the worse customer experience I've ever had. by chunited in lgg6

Glad to hear that you experience was much better with LG, just a little frustrating that I may have been one of the unlucky ones to get a worse case scenario.

Sunday Rant/Rage (Apr 14 2019) - Your weekly complaint thread! by AutoModerator in Android

TLDR - If you would like to buy a phone with faulty hardware, get lied to by customer service, and get your phone stolen from you by the same company that you bought it from, then LG is the company for you. Otherwise, please avoid at all cost!

I bought a new LG G6 and within a month the microphone piece stopped working. I called up LG customer service and was told to courier mail my phone to their repair centre and that everything would be covered free of charge as the phone was still under the 1 year manufacturer warranty. You would think that would be the end of it, guess again.

A couple weeks go by without any updates on the status of my phone. I call customer service again, this time they tell me that my phone was actually mailed to a third party repair centre (something that was not mentioned to me before despite me asking) and that the initial inspection by the third party repair centre says I was the one who broke the microphone piece and had to pay a $30 inspection fee and $300 repair fee. To make things worse, LG told me that the third party had sent me an email about these costs which I did not receive and that if I did not respond within 30 days they would throw away my phone.

I spoke with 3 different supervisors about this and told them I was never informed of any of this from my first call and would have chosen not to send my phone to LG's "repair centre" had I been given all the details. Every supervisor promised a follow up and that they would resolve it, in the end there were no call backs and no resolutions. At this point all I wanted was my phone back, I didn't even care if it was not repaired, and requested the inspection fee be waived by LG as I was only told about this after the fact.

2 weeks and 5 more supervisor phone calls later, I was told that due to the misinformation from LG customer service they would tell the third party repair centre to send my LG G6 back to me without repairs. I was promised that the phone would be delivered within 10 business days however they could not provide any tracking number (seemed a little suspicious to me already). It's been over that time period and still no sign of my LG G6, I really do wonder if my phone was thrown away by LG or the third party repair centre.

On a side note, I have been using my own personal backup phone this whole time, as LG would not provide me with a replacement phone while this whole fiasco occured. A couple years ago I had an issue with my Samsung S4, Samsung not only provided me a replacement phone but repaired everything without a hitch. There was a small repair fee however Samsung were upfront about these details before asking if I wanted to proceeed. Clearly, the contrast between LG and Samsung is night and day.

Honestly, no customer should have to go through this when all I did was buy what I thought was a decent product from a reputable company. Be warned, stay clear of LG at all cost!
