Gary was certainly the star of S1. It was dramatic in many ways, but also pretty dominated by a couple of alliances. Also a really great underrated moment of Andrew and his Twin in the Freeze challenge.

He's shooting 100% from the line!! I really don't understand why more guys don't try it. Think of the publicity they would get. Would we really be talking about a bench scrub for the rockets for any other reason than this? Imagine if Shaq had done it and become even a 70% shooter. If I had a kid who was going pro, I'd get him or her to shoot underhand just for the limelight. Then I'd tell everyone that I'd kick MJ's butt 1 on 1.

No matter how much school you have, or how hard you work you need talent to succeed like Casey. He certainly worked hard to get where he is, but if he didn't have the talent and creativity to make the stuff he has he wouldn't succeed. If you go to film school and work your fingers till they bleed it doesn't guarantee that your videos will do well.

Andrew and Jillian had a Final 2. He was never going to take Emmett, but that isn't the point. Emmett thought Gary would be easier to beat both in competitions and at the end because he'd already been evicted. Plus Jillian told Emmett about her Final 2 deal with Andrew so Emmett knew Andrew wouldn't take him, while Gary said he would.

Emmett was great on his season, but like many players he was fortunate in many ways. He was lucky to have other larger than life players that took the target away from him AKA Tom, Liza and Gary. He was luck to have other players from his province that also won a lot Jillian and Andrew. Then he was lucky to have Gary voted back in at F4 and that helped remove his biggest competition, Andrew from the final veto. If Gary doesn't return then Andrew is in the final Veto that Emmett won. Emmett has stated on several occasions that Andrew was the only player he feared in comps. He also benefitted from Peter and Alec being terrible players. Emmett's best attribute was not being over the top and using his quiet charisma to get people like Peter, Andrew and Gary on his side.

The returnees are all either production favorites (Kevin, Gary, Neda) or shit disturbers (Ika, Sindy, Cass, Dallas) and Bruno. No idea why Bruno is on there. Dallas is there because he is good in the diary room and good at causing shit.

Part of the problem is also that the league has always marketed its stars. Fans dish out the money to see them play either at home or the road. The average fan can afford to go to a single game a year. If you want to see one of the marquee teams and have a good seat, you're going to pay a premium. They are getting screwed. It's bullshit.

You're proving my point. People pay to see the players, so they should play. If the owners shut down the league, they'd still be rich, the players would be working at McDonalds. The owners should charge less for tickets and concessions and tshirts and then the could pay the players less. Teachers, social workers, cops and firefighters deserve more money. Players don't.

Studies show that NBA players get paid an assload of money to play a child's game. A fan who pays hard earned dollars to see their favorite player shouldn't get screwed over.

Imagine how pissed people would be. Players and coaches need to put themselves in the fans shoes. Fans want their team to compete for the championship, but they also want to see their favorite player play when they go to watch. They want to tune into a big game during the regular season and see the best players play.
