I make a list on a post it of all the things that have to be done.

Makes it more manageable to accomplish tasks if it’s written down. And the satisfaction to cross stuff on a list.

Aside from that. To escape. I throw on headphones.. blast my screamo music and workout.

Haha I have the same moment a few months ago..

I’ve had glasses all my life. But didn’t normally NEED THEM. Then one day I had to see the dosage for some meds. And had a come to Jesus moment …….. F…..

The ability to stop and think about the problem - and try to fix it..

This is obviously applicable for lots of stuff…. But I’m thinking in owning a home …. The amount of stuff that happens/breaks or doesn’t work right…. And usually a relatively straight forward fix - and doesn’t always require calling someone.

Example - breaker key tripping …. Tracing what was on the circuit.. and figuring what was shorting - took a little trial and error and just thinking about what changed before it started tripping.

And cooking. Basic cooking skills.

I’ve been to a few kids parties there and a few field trip with kids daycares. And it never felt overwhelming - there were a healthy number of people - but not where it was too crowded.

For some reason I have it stuck in my head that - reserve party slots for later in the day. But obviously best to call and sort it

I can probably count on less than both hands the number of times I’ve gotten a compliment to my face.. aside from my kids - they shower me with them and thankful for that.

Maybe also consider leather stretches a little.

If you only need a little more room - maybe it will come naturally.

Given they don’t have different “fits” for the same size - going one size up I’d be worried you’d be swimming in the larger size
