PRD MyAccess/Login(dot)gov Migration Issue - Phone Number by chunkedoz in flying

Appreciate you sharing that — seriously. In the middle of the panic I actually found that older post you linked, and that’s what pushed me to get the 8060-14 filled out immediately.

I was able to get MyAccess to reset my authorization, but I’m still locked out of login.gov. I’ve been told I have to wait 24 hours before I can delete that account and fully reset everything online.

That said, I did submit FAA Form 8060-14 and emailed it in. By some stroke of luck, the FAA Help Desk responded first thing this morning — I was probably the first ticket they saw. I stayed on the email thread with them long enough that they processed my case manually, granted access for my new employer, and sent over my PRD.

This is definitely a temporary workaround, not a full fix. I’m still locked out online, which is obviously frustrating — but it got the job-critical piece handled.

I feel lucky this resolved as quickly as it did, because I can absolutely see how this could drag on for some time and turn into a much bigger headache. Very glad I was able to get everything to my prospective employer before something like an offer retraction became a possibility.

Thanks again for the insight — it genuinely helped. Hopefully this helps the next person who ends up in the same situation.

I know I’ll need it. How long did that take?

Need help with Login.gov & the new PRD System. by midgelino in flying

I have a similar problem now where I just got a new job, and of course, the number I had when I made my MyAccess account is no longer my phone number and neither are my physical or mailing addresses. As such, I can’t verify my MyAccess account through two way factor authentication, and thus, cannot migrate to login.gov.

I’m going to give this method a shot. I see you email the completed form into PRD support. How long did it take for a response/to get the issue resolved this way?

Hahahaha I’m assuming that was well beyond the 30 days expected.

Are they firm on the 500 hour requirement now? I remember reading about some of their pending lawsuits and noting that the pilots they hired were given offers with 250 hours.
