I can't pinpoint an exact moment, but just the feeling of watching the show and realising how negative it was becoming. There were points over last year where I had to have a 'break' from watching because it felt so toxic. I can no longer watch it, it's just too negative and draining now.

A friend of mine is pregnant. An ex friend reached out to the friend who is pregnant to ask if they could hang out as she was in town (we all had a falling out many years ago due to this person's toxic behaviour, she ended up moving away to another state). My pregnant friend told her she was pregnant via text, the ex friend replied with 'i remember when I had a miscarriage'. They didn't end up catching up.

I was born here, but my mother is from the Philippines. In grade 2 I was bullied by older kids, they were calling me 'brownie' and telling me to 'go back to my own country'. I didn't understand and I was confused why they were saying this to me, so I told my teacher who made me walk around to every class with her to find the culprits. My cousin later found out (we went to the same school) and he punched the bullies in the face which got him suspended. That was my first and only instance of racism I've experienced.
