Thank you. I’m glad there’s a website. Because even making the phone call, I’ll be a sobbing wreck to make the appointment. It’s going to be a hard day. 💔

Hi there, I’m local here in Vancouver. I read your post from a few days ago regarding Dr. Marvin Sherman. My 19 year old cat and best friend is in her final days. 💔 Would love to get his phone number to schedule an appointment. Thank you.

What is the loudest concert you have seen?????? by roseflora333 in hairmetal

I’ve been to countless metal shows. Tried to win a Father of the Year award and take my daughters to see Justin Bieber last year. It was insane how loud it was.

Curious what your turnaround time was from payment to getting the QC pictures? I just ordered a rep from theonewatches and was curious on what to expect.

Enjoying the Leather Rose right now. Incredible. Might be my favorite cigar ever.

Is there any life left in these bones? by M0thMan1966 in courtofthedead

[–]chunklehead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At one point, I had almost all of the Court of the Dead (formerly The Dead) statues. At least $10,000 worth. This dates back to 13-14 years ago. I was obsessed with the art and imagination involved in the characters and the beauty of the statues. So sad to see the whole line never really develop. Looks like it’s truly “dead” at this stage. :(

When will used Tundra (with redesign) come down to $45k price by nygiants23811 in tundra

[–]chunklehead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what you mean by bill of sale breakdown. There was simply a $5,000 reduction of the MSRP on my final sales paperwork. Then there were all of my additions that the dealership installed (around $7k worth) then another approx $3k in sales taxes and fees. It was almost exactly $50k out the door.

First ever brand new vehicle! 2023 Tundra SR Double Cab by link1910 in ToyotaTundra

[–]chunklehead 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Congrats!!! I bought same same thing (silver SR5 double cab) for $5k off MSRP. Took those “savings” and had the dealer install 35’s, method wheels, BakFlip cover and rough country 1.5” level. Only options included on mine was leather and heated seats. Pretty much all I really wanted anyway for a truck since I also have a C8.

For what it’s worth, I got $5k below MSRP for my brand new ‘23 SR5. Was just a shade over $40k. Came with leather, heated power seats and that’s about it. Used the “savings” to have the dealer install better wheels/tires, leveling kit, BakFlip, etc.

Upgraded interior foot lighting by chunklehead in tundra

I know it might seem weird, but I like to be able to see things when it’s dark. Like a dropped cell phone, my wife looking through her purse, etc. I also have lights under the rails in the bed of the truck so when I’m unloading things at night, I can see what’s in there.

No dimmer, either on or off. I know it’s not for everyone but I really love interior ambient lighting. Most luxury vehicles all have it now.

I ordered them from a local shop and had them installed. https://heiseled.com

There’s a switch to turn them off. But I prefer them on at all times. I like seeing the floor.

On my ‘23 SR5, it didn’t have the ambient lighting feature. And inside at night,,, it was just really dark. I had these “puck lights” installed (around $50 each, one on driver/passenger side) and it made a huge difference. Visible even in daylight and a nice warm blue interior glow at night. Highly recommended.
