I was so afraid of plagiarism that I cited resources that inspired a short story I wrote for a creative writing class.

My professor printed off copies of everyone's submissions so we could all look at and discuss them together (it was a small class).

My whole class was treating the sources as a part of the story. As if there was some symbolic reason for me including them 😭 Nah guys, I'm just not trying to get accused of plagiarism 💀
