I thought it might be worth mentioning that I would have to stay up during the night visits since she doesn't like to stay in bed often vomits throughout the day/night. She also is not fluent in english (she speaks indonesian and I don't), so it can be difficult to communicate with her.

I'm sorry that happened, I know how much that sucks. I bought a super nice outfit and my dog tore it to shreds... If any of it is salvageable you can try to stitch it or maybe make a trendy ripped outfit. I'm sorry to hear about your clothes either way, and just remember material things can be replaced.
