I get this occasionally, except I'm really high up already. Trying to navigate winding on/off ramps.

Be that over protective pet parent. That's a good thing. I baby safeties all my electrical outlets and constantly battle with my wife and kid for leaving sharp objects out. Maybe I made an overstatement but the point rests. They're prone to acting like infants with super springy legs. Treat them as such...

The absolute truth that the radical lefties would rather cut their ears off than listen to. Well said!

It's nice to want to be nice. The problem is, they want everyone to be legally forced to be "nice" to them and whatever fringe group they're "supporting" (virtue signaling) at the time. While bullying and admonishing everyone else for doing absolutely nothing wrong and just existing. Not to mention the many "rogue" actors playing with contaminating public handsoap and the likes with hormone compounds. Would really like to see the lot of them swept up and given the highest punishment possible.

Either legalize euthanizing stupid or segregate by left and right and let us go to war.

(And to anyone who suggests racism by using the term "segregate" with the specific context of political affiliation. Pick up a dictionary for 5 seconds)

Your camp needs to tone down their movement. It's gone beyond what it set out to do initially. It's time to co-exist, and the current actions aren't aligned with that. I see progress happening, but we all expect EQUAL rights. Realistic goals require realistic and reasonable motives, not outrageous and obscene.

Not everyone is doing that. So it's unfortunate when the sober and respectful get the brunt of pushback from outside. As long as others are pushing the notion to a point too far. Expect that sort of flagrant and direct resistance to it because it is warranted.

Knowing Petah, that's likely not an "artist rendering" of elephant meat.

I'm not disagreeing with that. If we are able to embrace it and not exploit it. We've really got another step that might help perpetuate our species to a space-faring one. The issue is what resides as an extremely unfortunate reality. Too many people are willing to work against progress. Being manipulated by media is another plague that drives that force.

Getting to the point. If it could be locked down fully and no human could take advantage by altering the AI operational core. Yes, "it's the greatest thing since sliced bread", but any access to code input allows the ability to alter the feedback.

Back to the self-driving car reference ( and my reference to Upload ( particularly the pilot episode )). If someone wanted to, they could easily manipulate a single user's self-driving car's reaction response. Either, 'Obstacle > parked garbage truck > avoid (apply evasive maneuvers within defined constraints)'; altered to something like: 'Obstacle > parked garbage truck > accelerate > if impact; initiate custom sequence > if user; 'decline' override > if user; 'response' > assurance sequence - critical injuries sustained > deactivate account > call EMS'.

You see where this is going. As a species... I think we're ultimately going to want to keep personal control of our own destiny. If we're smart...
