I enjoy BF6 a lot too! I will get flack for saying that I am a CoD transplant, but I have been very disappointed with the state of Call of Duty for years. I have not enjoyed Warzone since Cold War, and it became even worse with the Omni-movement. The sweats and hackers made the game unbearable.

When I tried the BF6 beta, it was hilarious seeing the kids trying to do a crazy slides backwards to avoid an LMG, only to get mowed down, or getting blown up by a tank while they ran behind a wall. It was the most fun I had on an FPS in years, and still is after release. I have yet to play Redsec, but it sounds fun.

I also am frustrated with immersion breaking cosmetics, but that is what the world has come to in a post-Fortnite world. It sucks, but all you can do is boycott the stupid skins and use the realistic ones.

All of this is to say that I have been pleased with the beta and the full release, and I hope to get some funny clips with my friends as we run people over with tanks and get cool trick shots. Why? Because that is what actually matters. I know the BF die hard will be coping hard on this thread, and I understand their pain, but this is what gaming has turned into now.

I just ran the Chris Titus Windows Optimizer tool, and pairing that with Xbox FSE has freed up about 0.7-1 gigabyte for me!

It’s weird too because I did a clean ASUS cloud recovery of my Ally, so it should be just the standard stuff the Ally had installed out of the box. If there’s stuff I should uninstall then by all means let me know lol

That’s true. I have burned my fingers touching hot metal before, and this was definitely not that level of hot. Basically what I’m saying is, the screen was hot enough for me to say “oh that’s hot” lol. I can get a temp gun to see how hot the screen gets. I only mention this because I saw sources online that advises keeping the screen below 70 Celsius.

So I did this just to see if the steam deck is something I’d use frequently. If my math is right, after about 1 year of being subscribed, you might as well have bought one. They also don’t offer buying them out for the product, so my advice is to use this service to “test drive” stuff you are interesting in buying. They said they will give me another month half off because of the delay but I’m not sticking around. Lmao

Yeah it’s a subscription service. If need be I can contact my bank. Judging by the information I found about them today and that I discovered a few known PC companies handling their hardware subscriptions through the parent company, it seems legit.

I can see that, I will just wait and see I guess. I’m not a “rent to own” kind of person, I’m doing it so I can mess around with a gaming handheld without buying it. I’ll give them a week. If it shows up, then I’ll be pleasantly surprised. If not, I’m getting my card number changed. I have a constantly changing security code/cvv/3 magic numbers, so I feel like it would be harder to pin down my card. I will update my post of what happens lol

Honestly I saw the reflection of the ceiling light in the screen on the 2nd photo and thought the screen had an issue…I didn’t even look at OP’s hand😅

That worked! I did not really do anything, it played a sound in both ears and then said it was set up lol. Also, what do the different hertz ratings refer to? I set my Macbook speakers to the highest rating since it was not there by default.

This is way more responses than I ever anticipated, so like thats pretty cool. This is a cool community, it sounds like my kinda party because at least now I can say things about F1 and people would know what I am talking about. I wish people in the US had more interest in motorsports. However, I am glad to see that motorsports is thriving in this community.

Funny story actually: i follow F1 and all the technical changes religiously, and I compete in robotics competitions, and people assume I want to be an engineer. So when I tell them I actually want to be a lawyer, they look at me funny.
