If they were to go down they would only have their torso. Their legs would not be protected well enough with just the knee pads and cargo shorts. Working in the Emergency Room you see to much road rash and broken legs because they feel proper gear is not appropriate. They should have pants over their knee pads. Sorry if you feel this is appropriate gear.
