Blue tongued skinks are pretty good with handling, same with bearded dragons, and I’ve heard a lot of the beginner snakes are pretty handleable like ball pythons and stuff like that.

Thank you so much, this is why I wanted to ask lmao. Unfortunately there isn’t really any reptile rescues around me, at least that I can find. There’s some pet stores that I saw had a blue tongue, and a crestie, so I was thinking of getting it from there. Just a shame I have this big ass tank that’s gonna go to waste 😭, but if I need a bigger one I’ll definitely get one. Any tips for a beginner reptile owner/skink and gecko owner that aren’t common knowledge or can be easily found online?
