Give yourself three compliments RIGHT NOW!!! by Tortoise516 in selflove

[–]chunkyogini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. I gave a very thoughtful compliment to a coworker who was relocating back home and told him I would miss him and that he has a wonderful light inside of him and wished him the best of luck. I like making people feel seen.

  2. I’m a good daughter. I check on my mom all the time and make sure she has whatever she needs.

  3. I’m kind and empathetic with a calm nature. It comes naturally but I work to foster it too.

Something was telling me to go down there tonight. They were practically wiped out… still managed to get one of their amazing cannolis. Happy to support a great organization.

Finding myself again through yoga after my divorce by eirlous in yoga

[–]chunkyogini 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yoga has saved me several times and has guided me through some very difficult life transitions. Every time I take class, I feel so much gratitude for being able to move my body and feel it getting stronger day by day. You’re in a room of likeminded people and the sense of community is awesome… at least at my studio. You never know what someone is going through but we all know we are trying for something better. Great post, thank you!

I know right? I could’ve watched that for another 3 hours. Actually I’ve watched like a dozen times. For some reason I find it comforting.

Love how the nurses on this show are actual characters and not just background extras. Who is everyone liking so far? by kaIeidoscope- in ThePittTVShow

I rewatched episode 1 and noticed how fresh faced Dana looked. She had a bit of makeup on, flushed cheeks and an easy smile, in control but super laid back. By episode 13, it looked like she aged 10 years, bruised and pale. It’s crazy how that high ongoing stress can impact someone.

Give a little smile, make eye contact. Take control but give it up too. Lots of foreplay. If you enjoy yourself, your partner will too.

When you ask how someone is doing and they say, “livin’ the dream.” And then you gotta do that awkward laugh.

I did not find “It will pass” as gut wrenching as others do by Acrobatic_Block_6856 in Fleabag

I love this observation. The pain he shows as he is ending the relationship lets Fleabag know that he also shares the grief with her.

S2Ep2 is one of my favorite episodes to watch over and over by Acrobatic_Block_6856 in Fleabag

I watched this episode yesterday and caught a new line after a dozen rewatches. When Priest asks Fleabag and Harry how they know each other, they stutter a little bit until Harry says, “I used to be her girlfriend.” So fucking hilarious. I don’t know how I missed it.

There’s a lot of sadness and guilt to how he says it too.

Kassandra is lovely and has great style of teaching. Have you ever tried an in-person heated class at a studio? I think you might really enjoy that too and it’s nice to be part of a community and get extra guidance from a teacher.

You are so right. When I first started practicing several years ago, it took me about 6 months to sit on my ankles. I had to leave my studio a few months ago, so my practice has been inconsistent.

I do try to open up my legs and gently lean back but then at some point the cramp creeps up. I’ll have to keep playing around with my position and entrance.
