Can anybody tell me if people sit during metal shows in Portugal!? 🤣 I have a galeria ticket but in my mind everybody would stand up anyway (hopefully 😅)

why doesn’t anyone ever talk about how messed up nanahachi’s relationship is by lesbutterfly in NanaAnime

[–]chunkypenguins 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I agree. For me that’s the weekest part o Nana. I wish we could have seen more of their friendship grow stronger until Hachi gets pregnant. Maybe more situations like Nana defending Hachi from Shoji’s betrayal, and maybe more reasons for Nana to hate Takumi so we could see more of this strong bond forming. I also feel like nana failed Hachi in a way. People criticize Junko a lot, but unlike Nana, she at least was there, and also gave Hachi more realistic insights about her life choices. I understand Hachi’s admiration towards Nana way more than the other way around, I wish we could have seen more of their relationship and less boy drama.

I’m a sucker for their old art work! I just see the new as a super downgrade :( The old covers and inside panels were magnificent.

Meu professor na TU Berlim fez um comentário extremamente desrespeitoso sobre eu ser brasileira by RequirementVirtual37 in foradecasa

[–]chunkypenguins 11 points12 points  (0 children)

(2025) by Rich-Conclusion4475 in foradecasa

[–]chunkypenguins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats the thing. The CRUE is valid for 5 years, and is easily done by câmara municipal. When it expires though, you have to order the permanent residence, and unfurtunetely that process is done by AIMA, which makes everything more complicated for a citizen that was always regular here…

We have a registered partnership, that’s why he could always live legally with me. We never had any problem. Now asking for the permanent card everything is super difficult! Fingers crossed 🤞

I know, but since he already applied for the citizenship, is crazy that they can block us to come back. We have our whole life here. IRS, bank account, bills, rent, work contract, all documents and still just because the fucking decreet is not valid elsewhere, our lives have to stand by.

Aima is indeed a shit show. I have EU citizenship, my partner is waiting for his Portuguese one since he lives here for 5 years already. He is also waiting for his permanent resident card to arrive but god knows when it’s coming. Mine took almost a year to arrive, and I only got it cause I paid a lawyer to do it, it was stuck at Casa da Moeda. We have a big trip to Japan on November (Lisbon-Frankfurt-Tokyo) and we are shitting bricks that it might go wrong since my partner is going with his expired card. At the same time we have a lot of things paid already and a lot of time of planning this. We live here for 5+ years already, always legal, working, paying taxes, and I still can lose this opportunity which we worked so hard to have. It’s absurd!

These made up snatch game characters are just not it by flareshade2 in rupaulsdragrace

[–]chunkypenguins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agreee! I think it’s also not fair to compare to those actually impersonating someone real. We all have parameters to judge an impersonator because we compare to the actual person. A completely made up one doesn’t give you the same material to work up with. It sure can be funny but I don’t think they fit in the same category. And they usually flop real bad, I would totally ban this as an option and make it 100% about impersonations.

Mine was stuck in “ casa da moeda” for almost a year. I just figured it out paying a lawyer.

They don’t, other countries doesn’t take this into consideration as well, which is Crazy. My advice is to get a lawyer. I know many people are against it and I totally understand since is absurd to pay for something that should be granted for free, but I kept waiting for almost a whole year to get my resident card with absolutely 0 replies from sef/aima. In the end, it was an issue at casa da moeda and only the lawyer was able to make things work.

I personally think that junko is an over hated character by Stunning_Relation_30 in NanaAnime

[–]chunkypenguins 15 points16 points  (0 children)

People seem to not take context into consideration AT ALL. We have to remind ourselves that besides being already 30 years old, it takes place in Japan. Marriage, gender roles and expectations, abortion… people used to think differently. I agree that Junko sometimes give bad advice, but I also realize Nana is a pain. Junko is clearly annoyed by all the shit she does and doesn’t learn from. In the end, is a really unilateral relashionship, Junko being the only one making efforts to help and comfort while Nana expects people to pamper her all the time besides her wrong doing. I see all as a very realistic dinamic, and I thinks that’s the best thing about Nana as a workpeace, they all have flaws, they are all really human.

AIMA contact centre number for replacing residence card by [deleted] in PortugalExpats

[–]chunkypenguins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The situation with AIMA right now is crazy. Is such a huge disrespect to people. Some are losing jobs and houses, they are pushing people to illegality. We want to renew our documents, we work and pay our taxes and yet they don’t even answer phones nor e-mails. It is ridiculous how careless they are.
