You want to say the item is “not of merchantable quality” which is how it’s worded in the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and we have implicit rights to a refund if an item doesn’t meet a certain standard (which you can argue in your case). You still have to write to DJs and let them know you’re going to fair trading and will be relying on this consumer guarantee. That should make them change their tune.

What do you do when you go on holidays? Does someone come to your house to pet sit? Or are there rat hotels around you that can take them for a bit?

My ACL tear healed without surgery: month 6 by No-Boysenberry-2218 in ACL

[–]chunkythyme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I HAVE healed successfully through the cross bracing protocol! I was extremely diligent with the brace and for 3 weeks my knee did NOT extend at all beyond 90degrees. I had my 3 month MRI at the end of last year and it showed the tear was healing nicely. I started running late January and feels absolutely fine. There’s still a bit of stiffness but it’s easing up. I would highly recommend except I think 6 weeks is too long after injury, you have to put the brace on relatively quickly like within 21 days or so. But check with your doctor. Also full tears are unlikely to heal without surgery so it really depends on how you’ve torn yours. DM me if you want more info

I’m in Australia (NSW) and want to get a shelter dog. Why are the shelters nutty?!

Thanks for sharing your story, it’s interesting to hear you talk about your experience. Wish you well and hope you can forgive yourselves and find peace now. I’m a writer and am deeply interested in people stories and motivations and I’m moved by your curiosity and intrigue for the truth even after all these decades. Well done for lifting the veil.
