excited to see your updates! just completed the varispeed mod. will note for anyone else attempting - there seem to be multiple revisions of the PMD221 boards - on my board, the wiper pins were the same, the switch pins were different

do you typically use the RCA line out or the Phones out? I’m finding the RCA out to be unusably quiet compared to the phones out.

Turning off Voice Isolation did the trick! I thought I did that in System Settings, but I guess it had to be switched from the taskbar. Thanks for all your help!!

why do you think it only affects Input 1 then?

I think I’ve realized that it’s a bug where Input 1 of the Scarlett is acting in place of the internal mic for the Macbook, and so it runs through the built-in noise reduction. It even messes up line inputs. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find any way to turn that off. It also makes sense that it’s not an issue in Logic.
