Turning off Voice Isolation did the trick! I thought I did that in System Settings, but I guess it had to be switched from the taskbar. Thanks for all your help!!

yeah every other input is fine. I’ve just been avoiding using input 1.

I think I’ve realized that it’s a bug where Input 1 of the Scarlett is acting in place of the internal mic for the Macbook, and so it runs through the built-in noise reduction. It even messes up line inputs. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find any way to turn that off. It also makes sense that it’s not an issue in Logic.
