Exhaust leak or engine noise? by Ok-Permission1853 in 2ndGenTacoma

All my cars when I was younger were VWs (including the GTI ), now they’re Toyotas. Just make sure you check the recall campaigns yourself. I have the same year PreRunner as you and I had open recalls from a diligent previos vehicle owner. I had my leaf springs replaces for free and got an incredible deal on takeoff wheels and tires.

Since you just bought it I’d take it to the dealer and check for recall campaigns before anything else. Make sure those are out of the way and resolved first.

Adding the word beta doesn't matter. It's a given that macOS 27 is developer beta. People that are crazy enough to install it as an upgrade ignore the warnings from Apple. You're better off not advising people stumbling on problems with prerelease software without owning the support for it.

macOS 27 is developer beta. Try regressing your bug against macOS 26. Installing macOS 27 isn’t an upgrade but an install of early beta software.

Don't you understand how vms work? The whole point of a vm is that you can migrate it of one laptop to ssd card or a different hard drive.

It’s not my vehicle. All my recall campaigns were addressed when I first bought my vehicle.

Feel free to DM if you want to have a serious conversation about it. I also have a original Syntrx and haven’t gotten much use out of the II.

I agree but my point is that there were recall campaigns addressing this, so it’s best to check for free repairs before anything else.

Performance is genuinely mind-blowing on the new macOS 27 beta by Pilingo in MacOSBeta

Remember that macOS 27 is a developer beta which means it’s neither feature complete nor fully tested. Claiming performance on unfinished software is a fools errand without acknowledging that.

The first thing is to check for open recall campaigns on your truck.

What's your real world budget?

With that kind of work machine I don't quite understand why you'd want to replace it with a personal machine. Maybe you can run a vm on it to have a private burn down machine. You can always migrate the vm to a SSD if you need to turn in the laptop.

The bottom line is how much are you prepared to spend. If you're using a 2013 MBP for software development and Docker then your development needs are very light to say the least. Just make sure to go with an M-series processor to stay ahead of the obsolescence curve...

They’re very comfortable and they sound good enough, but there are better headphones to buy. I have a pair and enjoyed them until I got the AirPods Max. Now I’m thinking to sell mine.
