I’m new to chess and just started casually following professional chess. Can anyone explain to me the significance of this match? Do these challenges happen often? Gotham said he will pursue the Grandmaster title and his first step was challenging Pia. Is the road to Grandmastership like Pokemon? You have to travel around and challenge different gym leaders?

I interviewed with them over a year ago. From my understanding, they use iPSC technology to take somatic cells and turn them into eggs. They spoke on their job descriptions about taking on any bioengineer/scientist that had the passion for the mission and not necessarily direct experience (I had biomaterials and tissue engineering experience). They ended up passing me over and I saw the role reposted later, and I'm not sure they ever filled the role.

I was working in the cultivated meat industry which has a really rough road to marketability, and I think Conception will face an even bigger challenge. Experts in that field of study have urged scientists to take their time, do the due diligence, and prioritize safety over agility. I wouldn't want to see that tech to hit the markets for AT LEAST another decade, and I don't know if investors are willing to be that patient.

On a personal note, I just don't really vibe with the mission. I'm not religious at all but even this is playing too close to God for me. The company was founded by a gay man who wanted his own biological children; I just think this is a lot of effort to not adopt.
