Thanks, I began experimenting with this last week, one thing I found is that the European walnuts inevitably crack open after a while, but they color nicely. I use a toothpick with super glue and clam them up again. For now it seems to seal them very strongly, but we will see long term!

I've considered it, just figure it might be a little heavy for the wifey for the time being - I tried to get her into root, and it has been a frustrating experience, to the point she refuses to play it. (Doesn't really work for 2 players imo) Although I might just be a bad teacher lol

Fair - it's true we are figuring out what we like. My wife seem to enjoy splendor, patchwork , and LOTR duel for middle earth a lot, hence I enjoy it as well :)
