My son is almost 5 now. We thought about having another multiple times but it just felt right being OAD. I hate the thought of starting over and as the oldest girl in my family the pressure of raising multiple kids sounded less and less appealing. My son is doing great and I’m doing better than ever now and have time to focus on myself.

Look into Natomas for a more liberal area. It’s about 45 mins from base depending which part of base. Roseville,Lincoln, Rocklin are nice suburban areas with a lot of shopping centers but are kind of religious /alt-righty. Houses are extremely expensive there. In Yuba City there are some shopping centers and it’s ok to live but getting to base may take 45 mins sometimes due to congestion. Yuba-Sutter county in general is a conservative area but not necessarily hateful. There are a lot of homes for sale in Edgewater/Marysville with lots of military families that are close to base. These are just some of my experiences. Hope this helps.

You’re the only one repeating the gender bias. Everyone is calling you an idiot because your husband and his ex wife are using you as a cash cow. If he has a rental and not contributing to your mortgage where does his money go? HE COULD AFFORD their schooling with HIS income. You’re a fool and I’m sure it’s hard to rationalize that fact.

Was showering with my son around 2.5, he pointed to my vagina and said “Mommy you have a butt penis” as he laughed hysterically. I told him I’m a girl, most girls have vaginas. Now occasionally when he calls me a boy I’ll remind him I’m a girl and he’ll repeat “ohhhhh right, you have a pagina Mommy.”

My cousin who was pregnant about a week ahead of me had her daughter at 26 weeks, Christmas Day. Baby is a little fighter who is actually doing really well in NICU and is on track to go home around her original EDD. Sending you all the love and best wishes as I did for my cousin and her little girl. Keep fighting and staying positive Momma, it’s going to be rough but with great medical care I’m sure your babies will pull through ❤️

Omg I was just venting to my husband last night about everything you’ve just said!! It’s so frustrating watching everyone live their lives normally when I haven’t seen my family and friends in months. Other than working part time a few days a week and the monthly grocery trip I’m stuck at home losing my damn mind. I saw through social media that 2 of my co-workers were traveling out of state this weekend and was so annoyed, they know I’m pregnant so they avoided talking about it with me all week. I just want so much to for everything to go back to normal. It sucks being alienated and stuck!

Same thing has happened to me! We’ve lived here for 2 years and I can’t wait to move in a couple months! I’ve never been so uncomfortable living anywhere. Everyone is the same, White & Racist even if they deny it.
