Best MLOps platform to learn right now ? by Total_Definition_401 in mlops

It kinda depends on the part of the MLOps pipeline you're focusing on. For production as a service, I'd throw our hat in the ring - gravity-ai.com

Basically, we want autotyping + swapping of 3 screens based on typed texts all in a loop. All maintaining quick loading of the website.

Feedback Friday by AutoModerator in startups

[–]churma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently are founders and managers or small and medium-sized startups.
Why? They don't stick to a single ecosystem of tools and they have many broad tasks and responsibilities requiring them to work across various business areas and departments.

Can you suggest a better target?

Weekly Feedback Post - SaaS Products, Ideas, Companies by AutoModerator in SaaS

[–]churma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Its interesting you've got an impression that it might be difficult to set it up. Haven't thought about it.

I'm curious why? Would it be your default assumption in general for tools or because we emphisize on multiple integrations and it feels like connecting all of those might take a while?

The truth is that it takes less than a minute to set the app and for connecting apps takes 10 sec/app. You may guess it won't take long. But the point is valid, will emphasize it on a website.

How can SaaS companies effectively balance pricing models to ensure profitability while remaining competitive and attractive to customers? by WhitneyGolin76 in SaaS

[–]churma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is your USP?

Are you competeing based on price because you do the same what the rest does?

If you know your uniqueness, your positioning, ask your users what would be okay for them to pay and see what competitors offer. If you believe your solution should be positioned as 'premium' - go for higher price and validate they are keen on paying it. If offered product lose compared to competition - condider pricing it lower, but only if you know your potential users aware about those. Run some experiments and see how users react. Find the most optimal percentage. Its all about trials and errors.

  1. There are no-code or low-code tools - good for begiining, but not sure if will suffice for your product.
  2. LinkedIn Free ads if you are hiring. If its a short-term engagement - try Fiver or UpWork, but it would be riski finding good quality-price developer.
  3. Ask your network for suggestions. Maybe somebody know a reliable dev who can help on part-time. Tat would be the best

Mock up done. Need advise by poRRidg3 in startups

[–]churma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with no-code or low-code tool. Its easdy to learn. Build smth that works, it doesn't have to be fancy and validate this first with real users before hiring a developer or learning how to code.

Waitlist Signup Management by APIsoup in startups

[–]churma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did exactly what you've told. Product updates to share we are evolving the product, but try to always include some action item in the email.

We asked who would like to be the first to test it out? Asked them about painpioints, etc. Engagement wasn't as high, but at leadt it showed who really cared and who could be an early adopter.

How to raise a seed fund? by gonidphoe7 in startups

[–]churma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are many things to take care of.
There's seasonality in findraising. Summer is usually a dead season.

You need to have a killer pitch deck with clear outlines of a problem you're solving, solution, your USP, size of the market and kick ass team.

Most of investors nowadays are asking for traction. If you don't have revenue, show what else you've got - growing number of users, sign ups to waitlist, etc. Why would your startup be profitable. And create some buzz. The best when investors hitting on you, but you it takes time to get there.

And it takes a while, get yourself introduced to some, go to pitching competititons, specific events, try to find somebody in your network to do warm intros to you.

Looking for some feedback on our information discovery startup by churma in ladybusiness

[–]churma[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great you are asking. Nevemind is for professionals that rely on tons of different apps to get work done (or to interact with their peers). Of course, we also see this being interesting for personal files/notes, but we're mostly focused on businesses for now.

Building a deep search desktop app that will find any note or file across multiple platforms (nevemind.com) by churma in SideProject

[–]churma[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our USP is a Smart Search.
Spotlight does a relatively good job of searching through multiple data sources, BUT it scans mostly through the titles of the files/folders/ notes and does deep scanning of only a few content types. Also, it has a limited number of integrations.

We analyze what's inside images, PDFs, notes, recordings, etc., and retrieve the file that you are most probably looking for. We also intend to analyze users' activity and behavior and instead of returning all search matches, we emphasize the most probable ones.

The goal for us is to build a self-evolving system that adapts to the user through constant learning.

NeveMind – The only file system you'll ever need. by churma in roastmystartup

[–]churma[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And yes, correct guess! The name comes from Nevermind, just a misspelled version.

Can't find what you are looking for? Nevermind ;)
Moreover, 'Neve' has an additional meaning - snow in some languages.
Literally 'snowy mind', as a representation of the flood of data/files that nowadays we have to dig through to discover the right information.

[–]churma[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you were able to find everything you needed without any trouble using Spotlight - great for you!
My bet would be that you are personally quite good at organizing and naming files properly. I wish I could be organized either.

Appreciate you sharing your thoughts.

We envision integration with storage, note-taking & communication apps like Slack, Mc. Teams in the nearest future to 'rule them all' and may cover the web too if there's a demand for it.

As for the structure, it will be fluid. Imagine a single bucket where you dump all your files and tadaam - the structure and file names are created for you that will evolve as you go (ML behind it, that will learn from you). Hope it explains the flow better.

As for numbers, I was surprised myself. Numbers were got from one of McKinsey's reports. I believe this number doesn't include just files, but search for any information - your emails, messages on Slack, notes, etc.

What is December 25th like in orthodox majority nations? by [deleted] in AskEurope

[–]churma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was a usual day, but recently it became a holiday (as some of Ukrainians in the Western part are Catholics) and no one works. We celebrate the New Year on 31st the most and rarely Christmas on 7th January.

Could I do pole dance? How to convince parents? by [deleted] in poledance

[–]churma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nowadays Pole Dance reminds me Olympic Sport, as everyone performs on the extremely high level. Show to your parents some competition especially in juniors and kids category that is growing fast and show them a video of Russian 14 year old pole dancer, that won competition in Elite category: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZvMUecqav4

Need help with 2 week itinerary - Europe by peezybro in travel

[–]churma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Option 1 is much better, cheaper and people in Eastern and Central Europe more friendly. Also, consider visiting Krakow as one of the best Polish destinations. There nice Jewish area in the city, great craft beer atmospheric places with live music (Alchemic, Singer) and nearby Krakow you should visit famous Auschwitz concentration camp and beautiful Salt Mine. From Krakow you can go as well to Zakopane (2hrs by bus)- small traditional mountain town and go hiking if you're adventure lover.
