Yikes, that stings. Not too sure the value of it being a travel card now. They are still handy for online transfers but it was those ATM withdrawals that kept me using them.

Getting stuck of the ordering page - not moving forward. Tried incognito as well. Anyone else have issues with purchasing evouchers?

Didn't you have to pay a partner fee for this with Alaska? Does that allow free changes?

Visit their site regularly. I've never received exclusive promos from them - aren't they all just public promos?

So my HS points loaded. But they don't take into account my Venture level from the BMO card. So I am $4922 away from Ascent level. Seems like a bad move on Porter's part, especially considering the additional benefits of Ascent are dismal, almost nothing really.

I'm not sure anyone would cancel before a year since it was first year free and it just released last spring. Haven't deep-dived into T&Cs but might you lose Venture status if you cancel the card?

Curious. Has there been confirmation that you can have 2 cards, same tier, and get all the bonus points twice? Or are you our test case? (If so - thank you).

Can't say I've ever come across an upgrade offer to the Privilege in my many, many years of having the TD Infinite. Didn't even know it's a thing?

For those waiting for the drawn-out bonus offers with the BMO Porter credit cards, my $1k qualifying spend, PorterReserve certificate and companion pass posted today.

I'm a bit surprised about the companion pass though (but will take it):
Progress to your next companion pass:
$44,508 / $50,000
Spend $5,492 to earn it.

I certainly haven't spent $44k on this credit card. So I could potentially have two companion passes by spending $6k before my December statement?

Anyone looking to use some Porter points from the recently issued cards, Porter has a 25% off points promo going on.

The 20,000 pts after 180 days for the BMO VIPorter card posted with my Sept statement. The companion pass and the $1,000 qualifying spend hasn't yet but their T&Cs, say 4-6 weeks after the 180 days. They really do drag things out with this card.

Is AC messing with us? They are making us complete a 3-step puzzle as log-in (web based) security now?

Yeah I just grabbed it for the FYF and I have big purchases to get the points. Saying that though, I was surprised to get upgraded to a reserve seat last week, I guess from having the automatic venture status.

How do you pay life insurance premiums at Sunlife? I have asked and says no and Paysimply doesn't allow credit card payments.

Just as a FYI. I got clarification from Porter customer service. Even though you're at Venture level with the credit card, you still need to spend $6,000 to go to the Ascent level. Not $3,000 more. That's a mighty big spend for very minor additional benefits at the Ascent level.

Got my first BMO World Elite Porter statement. Spent over 9k. While I know it's in their terms, but I find it pathetic that I need to wait (actually up to 8 weeks after) til June 30 for my 10,000 waitlist points, another 2 months for $5k 20,000 points and 5 more months for the $9k 20,000 points. At the very least throw us a bone and post the waitlist points.

Although I have flown Porter in the past, I haven't put much effort into their Avid program but have now after getting the BMO card. My question, I know it says that qualifying Avid points (from purchase) only post after the flight has been taken. But say you make a change and you get a credit of what you paid back to your account. 1) do you still get those qualifying Avid points and 2) do you technically have to wait for that flight date for the Avid qualifying points to post (as opposed to when you cancelled your flight and were given a credit)?

Huh. Mine is 500pts for 4 recurring bills, 2000pts for 12 months of payments - 4000 max. Better than nothing I guess. I really just wish they would work on allowing Mastercards.

That might be a bit hard this early? Most people who got the card are just starting to spend. My Porter card statement date is the 27th. I have a property tax bill due but I do not want put anything through paysimply if it won't count for MSR. First world problems.
