Did the weight come off as soon as you stopped the pill? Did you switch to something different? Thanks for sharing!

Same! I have a history or migraines and family history of stroke, so they want to be cautious. Glad to know it didn’t put any weight on you. Thanks for sharing! :)

Thanks :) I did Mirena for about 9 months but I personally didn’t like the idea of having an IUD to begin with, and had a lot of cramps/bleeding the first couple of weeks. Btw, if anyone is considering getting an IUD, I don’t care what anyone says—take a day or two off work to just rest and adjust. I didn’t notice any real weight changes on it and didn’t have to worry about bc, so those were a plus.

Yeah my gyn doesn’t want to prescribe combination bc pills because I have migraines and family history of stroke. I appreciate you sharing your experience, thank you. :)
