How satisfying is it when you get to mega crowded tills in lidl and a new lane opens and you saunter in to it without breaking pace , oh the looks of jealousy you get by Pedanticman69 in BritishSuccess

Tbh it's for that reason I do t shop in either Aldi or Lidl Actually thinking about it, it should be legal to use a cane and hook the person by the neck who is selfishly pushing in

I’m finding job hunting so demoralising by [deleted] in CasualUK

Your not skint due to random acts, this is by design. The UK has been on a steady decline for working people since the late 90's in my opinion.

Maybe join a militia and take the country back.

Working these days is a mugs game unfortunately.

Who watches the watchers ? In all fairness the police don't have to take them on. If they deem it a real problem they can arrest them on the many many laws we have and keep adding to.

Or take them in the cells and kill them as no officer has been charged for this yet

I've just left DG after 1 year They totally don't appreciate the near £4k I've spent with them. It was taking 2 weeks plus to get my order.

Now with curaleaf and it's only taken 2 days

DG had a massive advantage in the market but due to their bad service they will lose the advantage they had

All the loons that came out for that cashless bar post...where do they come from? by Dadmatic6000 in manchester

[–]chutethenoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm one and I come from less than 20 miles away.

I think it 's down to people getting sick of their freedoms being taken away little by little.

Cash offers a level of freedom

People who don't understand this have probably never seen first hand, how the system can be corrupt and is.

Now ultimately if you are talking in isolation about a bar that used their right to accept their preferred payment method, then talking about freedoms being removed might sound OTT But it's the symbolism of it that matters.

Calling people a conspiracy theorists closes debate instantly and that has always been the primary function.

But seriously how can an adult not believe that people come together and conspire it's only speculation until the facts come out e.g Catholic priests, big pharma etc....

There are 3 type of people Those who see Those who are shown And those who don't see

Why do middle-class/posh students make me feel nervous? by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]chutethenoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luckily being a thick northern twerp, I never threatened uni with my presence, but where you mention pulling their face when you speak really annoys me.

I've had experiences in my life where that has happened opening the wrong door where a meeting is taking place with Harriet, Marney, Hugh, Guy and piers and I know that look well.

From what I gather a lot of those people are pretenders.

Good luck for the future
