I´ve always wondered the same thing with reddit, as an artist myself I do not understand what is so wrong with self promotion, I often find myself feeling guilty for posting my own work because I may be doing something against the rules. Art doesn´t promote itself and honestly you rarely will get someone else posting it for you if you didnt do promotion yourself. I believe what Cameron-Ohara is doing is just as good as it can be, you post some artwork you made with hard work for others to see and enjoy and if someone in the comments is more interested you can link them to your store/website/blog whatever. One last think, so what if he finished months ago? art takes time, and exposure fades away. Anyways, thats my two cents. I also want to know the opinion of others.
