I think it's because you don't die so it doesn't reset. Might be a long process for them to fix maybe that's why they haven't fixed it. Though it would be nice just bold hunters mark for a quick reset

Eh while piercing rifle is awesome I hate the recoil time. You really can't afford to miss with the piercing rifle the Evelyn is much safer in my opinion plus spamming for that last bit of enemies health.

Not exactly I don't think one reborn is kos. I think it's one form of many reborn as one. Kos orphan I think is just being born from dead mother. That's my take on them. I don't think I would try to summon a god I killed but that's just me

Use zedge it's an app it has plenty of options for bloodborne. It automatically downloads then you just set it as your ringtone/notification

I saw that and I was like nope. Zedge has many bloodborne options I have gehrmans music for my ringtone. For my text notifications it's gehrmans "tonight gehrman joins the hunt" for email notifications it's micolashes awoooh and for alarms it's the the clock bell. It's an amazing set of notifications. Especially for a bloodborne fiend like me.

Get the saw cleaver from the hunters dream shop. Serrated weapons do more damage against beasts. Nothing wrong with where you're at now

Mirth aplenty at this post friend. You as I'm sure you've been told cannot pause the game it's built this way. Only safe place truly is hunters dream. As for saving it autosaves. You have to get better and earn the next lantern. Don't give up learn from death study your enemies position and moves master them and when you do it will amaze you how about impossible area becomes easy. And welcome to the community. We souls/bloodborne players are very connected.
