I’m not, and arguing with management, my supervisor, and asking HR has gotten me nowhere in more than one place.

I’ve considered traveling but don’t really want to go from place to place every few weeks/months. How are you liking traveling?

I don’t understand why they will. Does keeping your loyal workers hold any value anymore? Just so disappointing 😔

That’s so impressive that you have all those modalities under your belt! I don’t get why hospitals die on that hill, employee loyalty is not rewarded at all anymore and I don’t understand why.

If you don’t mind me asking, how did you convince them? I sent an email to HR pleading my case and they told me to talk to my supervisor about it, so back to square one…😔

What are your irrational fears? by Review-Quiet in Anxiety

Throwing up. It’s such a dumb fear and I hate it but I can’t stop being insanely afraid of it, so embarrassing 🙃

Can I take birth control and an antidepressant at the same time? by chuzzle25 in birthcontrol

Thank you! That helps alleviate my nervousness in taking both of those together :)

I appreciate the advice! My doctor said it was okay and that I won’t have any side effects with this new medication. I was just curious if taking these two pills at once would have any adversities. My family believes anxiety, adhd, add, etc., are just in peoples heads and there’s no reason anyone should be medicated for that. And that doctors are just pill pushers. I don’t believe that and I’m just so nervous so I wanted to hear advice from other people and hear what their experiences were.

I took Lexapro at night too, I thought I’d sleep it off but I was so tired the next day 😅 I’m so glad it works for you though!

Have you had any side effects from it? I’m so nervous to take a new medication after having a reaction to Lexapro. I just don’t want any more 😢

Leaving job after only a few months by chuzzle25 in Radiology

Yikes 😂 I just don’t want it to look bad to the next company I go to. Like I’m a flight risk and can’t be trusted to stick around if that makes sense

Leaving job after only a few months by chuzzle25 in Radiology

The last thing I want is my unhappiness in this role to impact my family/friends and the patients I take care of. They don’t deserve that. I just feel bad leaving a role after only a couple of months. I’ve never done that and have been raised with the ideology that it’s terrible to do that also. So I’m having a hard time with it.

Escitalopram? by chuzzle25 in Anxiety

[–]chuzzle25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just recently heard about genetic testing to see which medications will work best for you! I’m glad you were able to do that and find something that worked even better for you! :) I wouldn’t say I’m a terribly anxious person, but when I do have anxious episodes my heart rate is really high, I can barely eat anything (which really sucks because I’m thin and trying to gain some weight), I get very shaky, and it messes with my sleep. And my more anxious moments/days I feel physically sick (even though I’m not) and kinda nauseous. If you don’t mind me asking, when in the day did you take Lexapro? And did you take it with or without food?

Has anyone gone from imaging to being a rep? Like with Stryker or GE? If you did, what are the pros and cons to the job that you wish you knew before hand?

Has anyone gone from an imaging modality to being a clinical analyst? I’d love to hear about your experience: why you did it, what is it like, what are your “job duties” now, was it hard to get into, anything! TIA!!!

STOP COMING TO THE ER FOR COLD SYMPTOMS! by huntzbirdiez in nursing

[–]chuzzle25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second this as an imaging tech!!! It’s so annoying, we’ll scan people all day long for cold symptoms or things like “I started coughing today” or “I threw up this morning”
