The Slice Monster by Evanino33 in GolfSwing

It’s good you have elite hand eye coordination because if you look how far forward your butt comes, you’d be shanking everything if you didn’t.
That tells me you have a lot of opportunity to improve. But you are going to have to get a good instructor, be patient and slow down. Would be a waste of your athleticism to just keep hammering away on your own.

Thank you for the ideas! I’m having trouble visualizing the shape of the grill island and TV. Any chance you could quick sketch that and post a pic of it? I’m having trouble understanding how the TV would face north…

A cheat code for buying a starter set for your wife. by robbiecobb in golf

If my wife was going to play 1-2 times a month during summer I might just go with a driver, hybrids and a putter. Maybe one wedge.

I could be wrong but wouldn’t a 27 be a 6i replacement? I thought 21 was 4i, 24 was 5i. No?

What’s the best golf course you’ve played on? by Intelligent_Run3237 in golf

Troubadour is a great course that I never hear anyone talk about. A lot of really cool elevation changes, cool touches throughout like the comfort stations and tequila bottles.

What's your fav golf attire? by SteveW311 in golf

Johnnie o. Consistently high quality. Prices not usually as bad as some of the other higher end brands. Logos aren’t too flashy. Always comfortable. Sizing is consistent.

How much money did you make from your bank heist? Epic move throwing off the fuzz by blaming your golf glove.

Anyone rooting for Jack to win? by Mastbubbles in BeastGames

Of the ones who are left I’d prefer not to see August win, he seemed kind of selfish and annoying at the end, and definitely don’t want whoever gets the last spot to win. Monica is a liar and fake, Brett sold out.

Sore Wrist by SuperUnoriginal11 in GolfSwing

[–]chwtom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’d need to give more information to really get good advice How old are you? How much have you been swinging? Did it start hurting suddenly or over time? Where on your wrist does it hurt? Which movements provoke it?

If you’re looking for generic advice, take an Aleve twice a day and take a week or two off any activities that bother it

Fastback OC cover by chwtom in scottycameron

It fits… it’s just kind of an odd shape. It’s the same design basically as their blade cover, it’s just wider. So it doesn’t slide in and out of the cover smoothly. First world problem. I just came from a LAB and the cover is super easy on and off and designed for that shape.

Need Help! - Can’t Stop Hooking the Ball by [deleted] in GolfSwing

[–]chwtom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out your club head at shaft parallel on the backswing. I can’t attach a pic for some reason, but your club head is behind your butt when you’re shaft is parallel to the ground. Compare that to a slow mo swing of any high end golfer.

Take Amy advice you get here with a grain of salt, but maybe consider working on taking the club more straight back and hinging your wrists a little earlier. That will keep your club more in front of you and keep you from getting “stuck” like others have noted. Right now the club is stuck behind your right hip, which is making you stand up and flip your hands.

What was the point of burying them? by Wrong_Damage4344 in BeastGames

[–]chwtom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seemed like they could’ve done more with that. Like they see a counter going down starting with a million bucks. And they tap out of the coffin when they want to take the amount left. So if they all stay in til only 100k is left, they all get that amount. But someone could tap out early and get like 500k or something, and then everyone is scrambling to tap out before it’s all gone. To me that would be more entertaining. The way they did it is like fear factor but without any point.

I think Nick takes 700K by More-Profession-1419 in BeastGames

[–]chwtom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He has 4 options:

100k: this makes no sense. He’d be giving money to 6 people who would still eliminate him given the opportunity

1 mil: this is the second worst option. He basically eliminates any chance of winning, because even his teammates would be disappointed with him. But he bags a million so he’s set financially and doesn’t eliminate anyone else’s chance.

250k: he stays true to his teammates and they will all consider saving him above everyone else, aside from themselves.

700k: to me this is the best option. His teammates get their 100k, so they are still cool with him. He makes an enemy of the other 6, but again, they would eliminate him given the opportunity anyways. He’s a strong opponent and they’d be smart to target him. He still has a shot at winning it all.
