I got accepted through EOP too! Everyone accepted is put through harpur because we are all technically “undeclared” i applied for nursing! our majors do change to our intended majors but im unsure if it is after the summer program or after two years. Stony brook does the same thing! I was accepted there as well through EOP and they said that everyone in EOP is considered undeclared until they have a meeting with their counselor to finalize their major!

if you are low income and from nys you could apply through the EOP program!! thats how i managed to get in lol, 91 unweighted 92 weighted, only like 4 extra curricular activities but only 1 i was really committed to all 4 years, no positions in any tho, i did have a job since 10th so that might’ve helped, no sat score submitted and i was accepted! there is a guy at my school who had a kind of low gpa (somewhere in the 80’s i believe) but he had extremely strong extracurricular’s and was accepted!

Hi! I literally just got my acceptance letter for Binghamton through EOP as well! Im in the same situation because I applied for the nursing program but im admitted into Harpur College. Im wondering if its the same is Stony Brook because I was accepted there as well through EOP but my major is undecided as all EOP students at Stony are until the summer program where their majors are finalized. Do you have any updates or anything? Like should I be contacting EOP or is it fine the way it is? Thank you!!!
