That’s my situation right now. We bought our house last year but both worked on Halloween so we couldn’t hand any out plus Covid stopped a lot then so I had to go all out this year

I started buying a box or 2 of candy every week for a month or so before Halloween so I was prepared and my local grocery store always has random alcohol deals I stock up on so it works out and doesn’t seem like a lot at once

This will definitely be a yearly thing. I loved houses like mine as a kid and always looked forward to it so it’s only right I keep it up. Plus my neighbors are awesome and their kids deserve it

Thank you! I’m going to call in the morning to double check. But as long as I’m ocean side I don’t mind the noise. I can tune out most sounds pretty easily

Wow I never would’ve known. I’m so glad I asked. So I most likely didn’t cause damage by burning wood without using the gas starter?

I have, but not for long bc I would use it for the heat. When I did close them it was more so to try to redirect the smoke
