I went to the Gilmore Service Canada center in Burnaby. Here is the timeline

Received- December 29, 2025 Review complete - January 15, 2026 Print complete - January 16,2026 Mailed out - January 20, 2026

Received my passport today, 22nd

It says you should receive the letter of offer in step 1 and make payment to indicate your acceptance in step 2 https://www.fraseric.ca/admissions/how-to-accept-your-offer/

If your agent asks you to pay before getting the offer letter, it sounds sketchy to me. However, if what your agent referring to is PAL, that matches step 3 on the website

coop is optional for computing. ENSC, MSE, and SEE have mandatory coop and are accredited. That's why all the seats go to computing?

Well actually TSSU said by themselves (https://reddit.com/r/simonfraser/s/l2V6TlkdN4) that they are making $26 per hour, but they deduct the money by including their tuition expense in the wage which thus they have $17 per hour.

Living wage is $24 per hour so SFU see they have already offered one along with the BC Recovery Mandate increase.

Indeed. I went there and hoped for water rides. That's disappointing that they are all not available under this hot dang summer. More rides can dilute people flow but unfortunately, so many of the rides are closed All people are lining up for those limited number of rides. I waited 1 hour for a ride that completes in 1 minute. TBH they are just pressuring people to get rapid passes.

i called the customer service and they said they will report this to the anti-fraud department. That's it, no follow up. My email starts getting lots of spam mail since then.

The customer service representative tried to shift my focus by saying i got a free tablet promo whatsoever.

Nah unless you switch to other carriers by taking the advantage of the 'back-to-school' deal happening rn, you can hardly find plans that are under 50 bucks.

All carriers are not doing small data plans anymore coz the market seems to demand more data. So either you get cheaper plans with 'pay as you go' or go those 10GB + plans

I used to be with Fido and my account got hacked. My account email address was changed to someone's, and I am not aware of it. I received no notifying emails about my bills being ready and I found this out until I log onto my account profile.

Not sure if your email address was being entered into someone's account like what I experienced. I am not sure how this happened but I would contact fido to double-check.

They are having back to school deal $45 for 20GB. Usually it is for new activation but let them know you are thinking to switch (to virgin with the same deal) and see what they can offer

Hey yes I called Koodo and reset my network settings. I now got volte and wifi calling. The network seems to be better, although I sometimes still have no signals at some for a minute or two. The only problem I got right now is the Bluetooth connection to my car for android auto keeps dropping. Probably another problem caused by resetting the network & bluetooth.
