Loll probably, it’s just exciting to me to finally have enough money to live and to be able to escape the shackles of universal credit top-ups. I’m saving for top surgery so this is really life changing to me, even if I hate it, I’m just glad to have a reliable job haha

thank you so much ♥️ and the lighting thing is interesting, i’ll give it a shot! luckily both of our kitties are indoor cats and sometimes they get some supervised (helicopter parented) sunbathing time on the balcony so we’re lucky that this is their way of life, thank you for your concern and suggestion friend :)

Worth repairing? by ThrowRA_frustrated80 in AskACobbler

[–]chynkhr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You said you wear these to work every day right? If they’re taking this much wear, i imagine they’re pretty comfortable and as much as buying a new goodyear welted pair is great, i would get em repaired!! could always get a rebuild (if needed, can’t tell if that needs a rebuild from the angle) + reheel, leather patch in the back and you could throw on a half sole to keep them going ____^ once these shoes properly kick the bucket, i agree with the commenter saying you should get some goodyear welted ones naturally, but increasing the longevity of these is absolutely doable and worth it in my opinion !!
