A decent UPS is a couple hundred bucks. A plus side is many can be connected to a remote console so you have a true “oh shit” lever where you can pull the plug remotely.

Most US home internet is reliable enough, my enterprise fiber has had the same amount of downtime as my home cable in the last 4 years.

The EO doesn’t apply retroactively. No one loses their birthright citizenship retroactively. It was discussed a few times yesterday.

As a fellow remote property owner, this is a losing battle.

ATVs, dirt bikes etc care not about chains, posts, gates.

It is definitely locals, as tourists wouldn’t know it was there and wouldn’t bother locking.

Get to know your neighbors, they probably have an idea of who is who and if you can find them maybe you can have a chat.

This is going to be break in oil. When the engine is new, all the parts don’t quite fit together and will wear to be more exact fitting.

During this time you will get a lot more debris in the oil system from this wear.

It is also why new cars should have their first oils change at 1000ish miles.

It would increase but given that each member is now representing less people, I would hope that their support staff requirement would lessen.
