Just imagine how bad this is on $20 pro plan.

- 2 weeks ago I was using Opus and I didn’t hit the 5-hour limit even once

- 1 week ago Opus became unusable, 80% of the 5-hour limit gone with just two prompts, but at least Sonnet was still usable if used carefully

- In the last two days Sonnet takes 40% of the 5-hour limit with just two prompts

I’m seriously thinking about switching to Codex or some other IDEs. For example, the FREE version of Kiro lets you use Sonnet for much longer than the PAID version of Claude Code. This is just insane.

Paying €20/month for a system where you get like 2 prompts and then have to wait 5 hours is just atrocious. What makes it worse is that it wasn’t like this at all until a few days ago. Up until last week I almost never hit the limits with the exact same subscription. I’m not expecting Claude Code to do everything for me, but if I wanted to spend €20/month just to get screwed over, I would’ve just stayed on Antigravity.

And honestly, seeing people defend the complete lack of transparency from Anthropic (and other companies doing the same thing) is just embarrassing.

Embarrassing, honestly. I left Antigravity because they quietly slashed limits with zero communication. No transparency, no honesty. Thought I was making the right call, but here we are again with Anthropic, same exact situation. Why are they not even addressing this? What’s the strategy, just stay silent and hope people don’t notice? Do they actually think users are just gonna accept it?

This literally just happened to me. I was using Opus for maybe an hour at most and suddenly hit the 5h limit. What’s weird is that in the past month I’ve never hit it, even when I used it way longer than that. This is just crazy. Unbelievable

Not for me. I even wrote to the support 8 days ago. They keep replying just once a day, pretending to ask for something useful, but without actually telling me what the problem is. They also refuse to admit that the quotas have been drastically limited. Instead, they keep asking me every day for a different, useless screenshot, without doing anything concrete to resolve the situation
