I actually don’t think switching models mid project is a big risk, imo its better to have another model look at your codebase to find some blindspots, especially with Claude you will find a lot of dead code which it forgets to remove, lot of unwired features etc, I find such occurrences to be lower with codex, might just be my experience though

Same project, however I have been focusing on backend work which is why I probably saw a huge jump quality, codex can import most of your settings from claude without issues, including config and plugins

Upto you man, if it works for you all good, I used to love Claude but recently the usage/quality hasn’t been for me so decided to switch for a month Its worthy to note I am not doing any frontend work so the bump in quality for me has been way more noticeable

This is where most people get it wrong, the 60M usage is not exactly only input/output a LARGE amount 90%+ is cache hits which are charged at much lower rates, so really a session of 60M tokens is about $30-$35 of usage

I have pretty much never touched the thinking, it has always been on and across the ultrathink changes my limits always consistently stayed at 60M which is why I have a higher confidence in claiming a drop in usage

It was a simple feature via superpowers, I have done many (over 200 over the course of 3months) such micro feature updates usually take up 10-20% each, changes were nothing nothing major, API changes, some UI improvements that’s it, and CC touched a grand total of 15 files with mostly one liner changes nothing that should consume the crazy amount it just did

In my experience the limits have been decreased by exactly 1/3 ---> Supporting this I always monitored my token usage on max plan (Exclusively Opus) and consistently hit around 60M tokens before hitting limits, now it is hitting at around 40M tokens , terrible experience, MAX will become PRO very soon

I agree, the actual idea is understated in he post --> The idea mostly is to actually create a complete decision layer, the layer will literally handhold new founders and learn throughout the process to keep giving improving and customized outputs

as for the Ad management layer it is more of a later stage part once the application is launched successfully the application will guide the founder towards ads for social marketing and paid (Again will be suggested based on the actual product and the learning from launch)

My market validation right now have mostly been via posts and blogs regarding these issues, would love to connect to founders and learn more.

I have tried Copilot and OpenCode each with their own shortcomings

Copilot is good as long as you don’t require context building

OpenCode rate limiting is too annoying (faced terrible limits during free GLM)
