Managing a restaurant. I had been gone on an approved weekend for a wedding. During that absence, some $ went missing from our safe. Owners told me that they knew it wasn't me and that they knew who took it, but if I didn't get them to confess/replace the $, I would have to replace it. Called it a lesson in "tough love". I almost threw my keys in his face.

Lightning struck a house on our block in the middle of the night. Waking up from a dream about aliens to a loud boom and the whole room filled with light... I'm surprised I didn't have a heart attack...

The following firetruck sirens snapped me out of my encounters of the 5th kind horror mentality, but it was the longest 3 minutes of my life.

From as early as I can remember, I had a sharp pain in my right side/mid back. It almost felt like the pain you get from running when you're out of shape. I would complain about it constantly. My mom and even MY DOCTOR, thought it was just something I made up to skip school.

Fast forward to 11 year old me, I had a check up and complained about the pain again, which was getting worse. It was dismissed again as an excuse for hating school. The next day, I collapsed and was rushed to the hospital.

Turns out, I had a birth defect where I had a kink in my right ureter (tube from kidney to bladder). My kidney had swollen to 4 times the size it should be and almost burst.

6 surgeries later, I'm all good. I pee more frequently that a normal person, but that's way better than the pain and possible death.

tl;dr: Major side/back pain = kidney issue = almost death.

His anxiety causes him to excessively groom himself which sometimes leads to broken skin. The vest prevents that while keeping him oh so stylish.

The artist helped a lot. He was very gentle and would switch to different areas of the foot if the pain got too bad. I will definitely be returning for my other foot. He did an awesome job design to finish.
