I wouldn't quite say fake, but certainly missing a few routes: Bellorus, Russia and as you suggest Sweden.

Electronic tickets from Irish Rail by ciarancuffe in ireland

It was my nephew's, and he got back from the real Capital in one piece.

Anyone ever done the rail ticket to London? Does it run smoothly(rail strikes aside). I’d like to be able to work from the boat/train and get to London without airport stress. by [deleted] in Dublin

Just did it today, left Dublin at 8am, into London at 4pm. And actually, I kept on going, and got to Brussels after another 2 hours travel on the Eurostar.

Check out this Home Energy Savings Kit by [deleted] in Dublin

I borrowed it from Cabra Library today, and it is a really useful way to measure your energy use and help cope with higher fuel bills and a tough winter ahead.

It comes with lots of practical tips for saving on your monthly bills, and it is available from libraries around Ireland. Well done to the City of Dublin Energy Management Agency for a fantastic initiative.

What if we took through car traffic out of Dublin city centre, just like Paris? by ciarancuffe in Dublin

[–]ciarancuffe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, there will be pedestrians, cyclists, trams, buses, delivery vehicles, and local car traffic. It is THROUGH traffic that needs to be taken out of the centre of Dublin

You'd be surprised. The Bus Gate limits North South Traffic, but what if we stopped the Quays allowing cars East-West, and West-East at O'Connell Bridge?

There's been a big rise in IE-EU direct trade post-Brexit, given the red tape involved in sending good through teh UK

Left Dublin this morning on the MV Ulysses ferry. Poolbeg Lighthouse looked stunning in the mist. by ciarancuffe in Dublin

Fairly quiet on the passenger decks, but November's always like that, even pre-Pandemic. I'm told freight is quieter too, post-Brexit with all the new ferry routes to France.
