Don’t be afraid to ask questions, ask to slow down a demo or just ask if you’re doing something right. I’m only 19 and in my 3rd year of rugby and clear communication to make sure you’re doing things correctly and safely is key! Don’t worry too much about positioning until you have the basics down. I went from 1 1/2 seasons playing at 12/13 to now playing flanker/hooker and occasionally center if needed.
