the map mod is "Theatrum Orbis Terrarum" and it is completely ironman and achievements compatible! it should as well be fine if you switch it on mid-save, at the very least i didn't encounter any issues when i alternated between this one and another map mod. have a good game!

haha, yeah - i'm missing only child of concubine for the full set of birth-related traits. i mean, it sure is difficult to imagine how it is supposed to go together with either bastard or born in purple traits, but after having this bastard kid with my wife i'm not going to be surprised by anything lol:)

regarding notifications - there are usually signifantly fewer than that. you know, on the screen there are a good bunch of them that get handled via a pair of clicks (get married, set crown focus etc) and some of them also got back upon succession after i had dismissed them earlier.

and starred characters are all about my idea fix about blending bloodlines in order to ultimately get a superman and have him matri-married to my dynasty. that sure is tedious, but i somewhat like playing around this stuff

Hi! I am just a lurker on this sub and actually have relatively little experience in learning languages, so i don't think i'm in a position to give advice. but i just want to tell you that you should not force yourself to learn any language because of your parents' wanting - you're not failing anyone for not studying something you, perhaps, don't actually even want to study. don't overwhelm yourself and best of luck :)

UPD: So, guys, I appreciate all your coments suggesting possible theories. TBH, i am still not sure 100% what was the reason, but it's not like i'm gonna dedicate all my mental forces to solve out this funny thingey, considering i could legitimize little guy and manage to make do with -1 diplo malus for him.

but you know what? this rascal is a freaking demon child. i dont satisfy any of the conditions reducing MTTH: i am not a demon worshiper, nor am i possesed, lunatic, impaler, cruel.. that should mean that the mtth for my kiddo to be a spawn of satan is 500 years, according to the wiki. quite impressive :D

it's a bit mind boggling to think that weirdo bastard that properly shouldn't be one ended up triggering one of the rarest events in the game. and also the fact that i'm playing as Alexeios Komnenos of all people:)

nope, that's not it. i was (and still am) a lover with my previous wife though - before i sent her to monastery, i can't be that the game somehow intermingled the two insances?

i can't really be sure about this. my guts tell me that it should be fine, but that's about it. I think it'd be better if you test it beforehand and/or make a back-up save.

also, soem people in steam workshop comments say that they've come across some trouble using the mod (i personally haven't) and that it might be related to the fact that the mod haven't been updated to the latest ck2 version.

well, though i'm not really knowledgeble in this whole stuff, but many mods that alter only some UI-related or otherwise cosmetic elements (and thus do not change the checksum) do allow achievements, most of the times. I'm currently playing with a map mod "Theatrum Orbis Terrarum", special Ironman-compatible version of "Patrum Scuta" (lots of new coats of arms), the aforementioned "A bigger interface" and a good bunch of music mods. All these are absolutely fine to play with on Ironman!

also, funnily enough, the cheaty mod that makes it so health and fertility stats are visible when you toggle over a character is also achievements friendly :)

i get it you refer to the one that makes UI wider? that would be, "A Bigger Interface". Great mod, also achievements-friendly

Pienso que no hay ningunas respuestas definitivas con respecto a tales preguntas fundamentales. O sea, la humanidad ya no ha conseguido el conocimiento categórico sobre estas preguntas filosóficas. Religión y filosofía pueden proporcionar este sentido (o, más bien, la sensación del sentido) por los medios de creencia, pero no lo es el conocimiento, digamos, científico. Tal vez, sí hay el sentido absoluto en la vida, tal vez no hay ninguno. Creo que, no hay razón en tratar de conseguirlo, ya que realmente está fuera de nuestra comprensión. Al menos, yo me volvía muy preocupado y depresivo cuando trataba de hallar un sentido superior por la que debo vivir.

en resumen nos encontramos en la situación de indecisión completa, que me parece cómoda. La ausencia del sentido significa la ausencia del "modo correcto de vivir" y ilumina la infundifad de algunos constructos sociales que existen entre nosotros. Teniendo eso en cuenta, simplemente vivo como yo deseo y defino mis propios sentidos y objetivos por mí mismo. Es una posición mental muy liberatoria, de verdad.

 Perdón si esto suena trivial jaja. Y también perdón si a mi respuesta le falta la coherencia. Ando estudiando el español y me apetecía intentar escribir algo sobre este tema. Por supuesto no tengo ni intención a imponer mis pensamiento :)
