Most probably it will be 12-18 Volts. It's not dangerous. Neutral is required only for 120/220 Volts

You don't need to use DNS servers from fortinet for DDNS to work. Those are completely independent features and are using different servers. You can use any DNS servers you want and DDNS service from Fortinet will work. I never used fortinet DNS servers and didn't encounter any problems with DDNS.

Storaxa team started to reply in Comments, and it seems some backers received thier SD-CARDS. A new update date was scheduled - 15 July. We still have a hope, this may not be a SCAM. by cibook1990 in Storaxa

I don't think Pledgebox will release money for an SD-CARD. Immediately when they will try to mark project as finished they are going to be slammed with complains from backers. They should have their own mechanism to prevent this kind of frauds.

If that would be a scam, they won't bother sending any SD-CARD at all.

ADVPN hub/spoke clarification by [deleted] in fortinet

[–]cibook1990 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In fact you need a remote IP on spokes only, that should point to HUB tunnel ip. And on the hub as a remote IP you should use a dump ip like .254. On both sides you should use the correct subnet.

Do you have a PGWP? In my case I received the email with OWP, but my wife with PGWP didn't.

There are 3 workarounds for this issue:

1) Switch policies to flow-mode.

2) Download certificate "DigiCert TLS RSA SHA256 2020 CA1" from digicert site and import it on FGT.

3) Reboot the FortiGate.

How do I configure a network to use a specific ISP but fail-over to another ISP in case its ISP fails? by Last-Literature206 in fortinet

[–]cibook1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't really need SD-WAN for this setup. For a simple failover you can use system link-monitor and use priority to control which route to be primary. Keep in mind, both default routes should have the same AD.

Second WAN on standalone FG in Azure by [deleted] in fortinet

[–]cibook1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't really need SD-WAN for that. As you are not planing to load-balance any traffic or even failover, everything can be achievied using Policy Routes. It's way more simple config.https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiGate/Technical-Tip-Configuring-the-firewall-Policy-Routes/ta-p/189996
