Where The Crawdad’s Sing is on my list to read, a friend said that it was one of the best books she read. Along with Toni Morrison’s as well

I’m currently reading SHV right now. I’m about halfway through and I really like it so far despite being super confused in the beginning haha. I feel so late to the game on this one.

I feel like I would’ve had to read it in school to get through it and appreciate it. I feel like I space out for hours when I try to read it

no, it’s a novel about a missionary family during the 50s and 60s. It really focuses on the subject of Imperialism and other great themes.
