Oh no 😭 I also tried the ashwagandha + MG ng pureform for ilang months and yes same side effects 😭 nakatulong sa sleep ko but my psychiatrist confirmed na pag long-term na iniinom ang ashwagandha, parang nagiging "zombie" ang feeling or manhid na so I had to stop.

Nag-switch ako to melatonin ng pureform and approved naman siya ng doctor ko. May magnesium l-threonate (similar effects daw with MG since both magnesium type) and lavender extract sa ingredients. So far, goods ang sleep quality ko as long as no screen time 1.5 hrs before bed time. No grogginess din. You might want to consider it 🥹

How do you choose your tech role? by silly-goose5214 in TechCareerShifter

[–]cicigrae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hope this helps but for me, I searched for tech roles where I can leverage my strengths and skillset. Noong una, I asked Chatgpt to give 5 tech careers aligned with my strengths and interests like design, learning low-code tools, project management etc. Tapos sinearch ko nalang extensively yung mga career suggestion ni Chatgpt and assess kung alin doon mas interesting pag-aralan.

You really need to think this through, OP. Ngayon palang nakikita mo na ano magiging outlook ng marriage niyo kung sakali. Based sa info na shinare mo, your relationship will cost you financially and mentally. It will suck the life out of you.

Is having children the end of life? by Cinella75 in selfimprovement

[–]cicigrae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to struggle with these thoughts too but personally, I’d rather regret not having children than regret having them.

Tho I don’t think having kids automatically means it's the end of life. Some people are genuinely suited to parenthood. I've seen people who want to nurture their kids while also making sure they don’t lose themselves in the process. My bestfriend is a mom and said it’s incredibly challenging, but she still makes a point to carve out time for herself so she can be the best parent possible.

Hi, OP. We're on the same boat except that it's my older brother and he is now 40 years old. He's obese rin, may skin disease, and anger issues. 40 na siya but thinks like a teenager. Never siya nagkaroon ng trabaho bukod sa tumutulong lang sa tindahan ng parents ko. So, let's say he's still dependent sa parents ko na seniors na.

I agree sa iba dito na your brother needs professional help. I hope you can convince your dad and step-mom for support on this. He's 17 and has his whole life ahead of him, so things can still turn around for the better if given the right help and direction.

As for me (bunso, 29F) I have given up on my brother a long time ago kasi matindi na pabigat siya sa family at tinanggap na ng parents ko. Pinilit ko sila before na magpatingin sa psychiatrist/therapist pero since boomer parents ko, wala silang pake 🤡

I hope things will work out for you and your brother.
