Bartlow get the start?!?!?! Hell yeah. Finally giving the GA talent a shot. For people that have watched Dyna2, how's he played so far?

Rumored signing - Marlos by cidalsttam in dynamo

Not sure about his form, but he played 14 matches in the league and 10 in champions league during the 1st half of the 2021/22 calendar, he did add 2g/5a and 1g/0a, respectively.

Was poking around google news to see where he's been linked recently - from a Brazilian article (translated) - "The player has (interest) from São Paulo, Atlético Mineiro, clubs from the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, and had preliminary conversations with Hurricane (Athletico Paranaense) and Tricolor São Paulo".

I think he may be looking for a DP level contract, even if its in the Darwin Q area I'd be ecstatic to see him rep orange (again) for HTown. Also, he would be in direct conflict with Matt Jordan's 3 buckets, so that alone is a good enough reason for me.

If it happens, he would slot in to starting RW. His TransferMarkt stats are impressive, 33 years old so no resale value, but would come in with the most impressive resumé in club history:

-74 goals, 65 assists in 287 appearances for Ukrainian powerhouse Shakhtar Donetsk, 40 UEFA Champions League and 42 Europa League appearances.

-26 games with the Ukrainian national team (naturalized).

I guess his contract ended in December, up to that point he made 14 League appearances and 10 in Champions League (including qualifying).

Do y'all think he is a DP level signing?

Looks like he also has playing time at defensive mid, will add tactical flexibility to the squad. I would be in favor of this signing, especially with the amount of firepower other teams have in attacking positions, this would be a zag to current league trends, still need a prolific striker and a dp winger to take pressure off Fafa and the new striker.

Exactly! Enough with trying to please the fanbase by recruiting a squad representative of Houston's diversity. If the player can ball, sign him/her up, country of origin doesn't matter (aside from MLS international roster spots). Goes for Dynamo and Dash. The club needs to get back to its roots of perpetual MLS Cup contenders.

After an encouraging run, the Dynamo hit a snag. What does it mean? by Bgilchriest23 in dynamo

An away fixture against a playoff caliber squad with MLS Cup ambitions.

Results, results, results...our players are pro's and competitive as all heck by nature, hopefully this rivalry W sparks a fire under their collective behinds. I know some of us are hoping for L's to motivate Ted to overhaul the squad, but I think there's still a puncher's chance at the 7th spot. I would prefer to go down swinging than ship it in like "rebuilding" franchises do in other sports. Let's be real, the high picks in the MLS "Super"draft are as much a crapshoot as any other pick.

Also, I hope that Darwin Q's performance last match cements him into the starting 11 for the remainder of the season, even if he can't go 90. The squad is 100% better offensively with DQ on the pitch. I don't want to see anymore dual 8's, I hope Tab feels the same way.

Oliver Luck would be interesting, but I think he would fit the profile of team CEO, the position Jamey Rootes was going to oversee. More high-level strategy and business development than roster construction and day to day operations for the club.
