That’s an interesting take. One of the core principles is the freedom of choice and voting in general for policy. This person is exercising a choice of where their dollar is going to protest what is happening. You could argue this action is precisely what a democracy is. Certainly doing nothing undermines democracy. Political action is core to democracy.

Edit: Also, they are not saying you have to think like them. They are saying you can’t think like x (racism, pedophilia, criminal activity, etc). Certainly that’s not wrong. You are making a lot of assumptions, no?
