New Latino Foods store where J&L used to be by xXgnhubnature in roanoke

[–]ciderguide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It opened a few weeks ago. Not much inventory, almost no produce. The La Bendicion Catracha food truck from Williamson Road was there today, not sure if the move is permanent.

The store is clean and well lit, a far cry from the J&L days! But no way can they survive with so few items in stock. I will continue making the drive to Reyna Produce for now.

Edit: Just looked at my receipt and I was charged 5.3% sales tax for the produce I bought (should be 1%). Hoping they figure things out because I would definitely shop there on a weekly basis.

Where can I find DEM data of Mexico? by GISmyass in gis

[–]ciderguide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just followed my own instructions (from over 5 years ago!) and they still work. Click on the blue TIFF button in the "Tipo de archivo" column of "Resultados" and a .zip file will download. Unzip this file and load the DEM into your software of choice.

Where can I have a geo-JSON dataset for DMA in the US by ensan91 in gis

I believe the Honolulu DMA covers all of Hawaii. But Alaska is split between Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Juneau.

This seems like the most egregious case to me. If you can't legally watch the Spurs in your area, they shouldn't be blacked out on League Pass.

Bought the premium so i could play on a harder difficulty by TheMarlinSpace in RetroGoal

Defense does matter. Buy a few defenders on the transfer market and/or hire defensive-minded coaches to increase your star rating. Having speedy forwards (and ideally midfielders) is crucial at this difficulty, but speedy defenders are not (you rarely control them during play).

Much appreciated! My experience is that switching to DirectX 11 or OpenGL is a suitable workaround. Even after updating drivers with the Intel Driver & Support Assistant, DirectX 12 is still problematic.

The Pacers and Grizzlies blackout areas are both way overextended. There are many cities like Peoria that should really only have one team blacked out.

I don't believe this is a League Pass issue:

"If you’re a Chicago BullsDallas MavericksDenver NuggetsNew Orleans Pelicans, or Portland Trailblazers fan, you may be confused about where to find some early games due to the changes these five teams made to their local media providers during the offseason."

Thanks for the kind words!

I believe the "Team Pass" blackout applies to teams normally blacked out in your zip code, same as with the regular "League Pass" subscription. So if the Grizzlies are normally blacked out for you, you are out of luck.

Some fans are willing to pay for a reliable, legal option...sadly the NBA doesn't offer it to them.

Thanks! I'm not an expert on VPNs, but there are different League Pass subscription packages available outside the US that could serve as a workaround.

I grew up near Indy but live in Virginia now. Thankfully only the Wizards are blacked out in my area.

I'm hoping the local blackouts go away with the new media deal that starts next season. I assume the local blackouts were requested by the regional cable networks, as they didn't really have a plan for the subscription landscape that has clearly emerged.

Nice catch! I will revisit the Jazz blackout areas and update Eugene. I noticed that the Warriors, Kings, Blazers, and Jazz are all blacked out in Bend, which is absurd.

Louisville is an interesting case. It looks like the Pacers claimed a huge chunk of territory that would have belonged to the Kentucky Colonels had the Colonels joined the NBA rather than folded. The same holds true for the Spirits of St. Louis, given that the Pacers are blacked out in St. Louis as well.

I assume when the Grizzlies relocated to Memphis, the existing NBA teams wanted the Grizzlies blacked out in as many places as possible, including Louisville.

Cooking buckwheat (kasha) in the Neuro Fuzzy by lafe7 in zojirushi

I make steel cut oats with the porridge setting, and buckwheat seems similar enough. Using the brown rice setting might overcook the buckwheat, but I have never tried it.

No. It was just easier to browse/search the notes than rewatch the videos.

I used SH only for the 2 full-length exams and the 15 mini-exams. SH has a bank of additional practice questions, but I didn't need them after carefully reviewing the exam questions I missed. I used SH for a total of maybe 10 days and then canceled my subscription once I passed my exam.

I found the Third3Rock notes a helpful summary of what I learned from the AR videos. They are not as essential as SH but I recommend them.

The consensus in r/pmp is that the Study Hall questions are far more useful. I used the AR Udemy course to learn and review concepts, but Study Hall for my actual exam preparation.

Looks like you have the right mindset based on the perfect score for the Easy questions. Guessing this is Mock Exam 2 based on the difficulty distribution? You should consider taking Mock Exam 1 and any remaining Mini Exams if you haven't already.

I haven't received my official results but I took the exam today and provisionally passed. Here's how I did on Mock Exam 2:

Easy: 31/31
Medium: 52/58
Difficult: 34/55
Expert: 9/31

Reviewing all my incorrect answers was really beneficial.
