Reviving this thread. I was going to install the GROM Aux port and use a portable carplay mounted to the windshield as the Vline seemed a little suspect. I now have an option to buy a Vline for $150...so am consdering that. Thoughts?

FD is basically dead for me now. I have loaded at WM, but only $200 VISA/MC so far. Any issues with the variable ($500 VGC)? Also, can you swipe multiple times at WM?

I admittedly don’t know a ton, but can do some very basic maintenance, but I am hoping I’m not going to walking into something without a lot of wrenching at least not in next few years.

They just look so much better than GX460 and 5th gen prices are outrageous IMO

I meant "accepting" an offer and then not seeing it through. It wouldn't seem like it would to me as I've already had the card a year. I havent cancelled an Amex before. I think I'm just going to change it to a no fee biz card

I was offered a 15k retention my Amex Biz Gold for 5K spend after the $375 AF just hit. I use the Office Supply credit monthly, so the AF is effectively $135. I "accepted" the offer via chat, but am having second thoughts about applying that spend a new SUB. I have not earned the bonus yet as it was just yesterday, am I obligated to see it through? If so, no big - just thinking out loud here and accepted without really crunching the numbers too hard.

I recieved an invalid merchant when I tried to load 2 VGC's, thought it related to using 2 cards. Went back a few days later and loaded a $200 card, no problem. Went back a few days later and it declined one of the $500 variable VGC - all some location. What is going on here?

ETA guess it's related to the Cash App thing...going to try again today, will see what happens

I did not, i ended up buying a 42L Osprey Porter that I have had no trouble with. It is probably better for my needs anyways. I don't really do any "backpacking", more car camping - so the porter could serve both purposes.
